The softest stone you’ll sit on this year could be South African designer Ronel Jordaan’s rock cushions, made with a traditional felt material (100% cotton). Jordaan also creates rugs, throws and wall hangings. Even more importantly, her materials and dyes are eco-friendly, and she’s trained more than 40 previously unemployed women to become professional felters.
